Colour Coated Sheets

Colour Coated Sheets are also known as Profile Sheets or PPGI(Pre-Painted Galvanized Iron) Sheets. These profile sheets are manufactured by cold-rolling technique and are hot-dipped galvanized by zinc. The galvanized coating provides cathodic and barrier protection to the base steel. PPGI is made by painting of Galvanized Iron prior to formation as it significantly reduces corrosion rate of zinc. Such a corrosion protection system makes PPGI attractive for structures designed to last a long time in aggressive atmospheres. These are the sheets with the color coating over the metal surface of these sheets. Thickness of the colours coated on the surface of these sheets depends on the specific requirements.
